What a week or two we've had! Reeve went for a consult with a new pediatric ophthalmologist. She's a wonderful doctor and she is taking a much more proactive stance with his care. He's now wearing bifocals and we are having a few tests run to make sure that his small optical nerves aren't growth related.

Reeve continues to do well in school. He can now write is first name very legibly and is getting better with his last name. The W kind of throws him for a loop. He's still obsessed with Earth and space and is constantly telling me how he is going to build a big spaceship in the front yard and fly to the stars. He's also developed a fascination with storm drains and drainage systems in general and will tell anyone who will humor him all about how the water goes into the drains, through the pipes, and down rivers to the ocean. My dad is convinced he has an engineer in the making and is already trumpeting the merits of Georgia Tech...

We got to visit with Shannon for a while at the USC v Wofford game and had a great time. The game blew Reeve's mind with all the sights, sounds and movement. He learned how to cheer "GAME" "COCKS" and do the "Another Carolina FIRST DOWN" and was exhausted by the end of the night. It was a wonderful time.

We are going to the pediatrician tomorrow to talk about his growth and his eyes. I'll update when I know more.
